Equipment is available to uninsured and under-insured adults located in the state of Virginia. We gift gently used mobility-related rehabilitation equipment donated by the community, including:

  • Walkers and wheeled walkers;

  • Canes and crutches;

  • Bath and toilet aids;

  • Manual and power wheelchairs;

  • Hoyer lifts; and

  • Other specialty equipment.

Please note: F.R.E.E. does NOT gift respiratory equipment, such as nebulizers, oxygen, or hospital beds.

Submit an application for gently-used mobility related rehabilitation equipment from F.R.E.E.

F.R.E.E. is considered a provider of last resort. We provide assistance only when all other resources are unavailable. To request equipment, please complete an application below.
Because our equipment is donated to us, the items we have available vary at any given time. It is advised that you contact the F.R.E.E. chapter nearest you to inquire about availability before applying. Contact information for our offices can be found below. We have chapters in Roanoke, Richmond, Williamsburg, Lynchburg, Winchester, and Virginia Beach.
