Richmond is one of the new F.R.E.E chapters.
Launched in 2010, this chapter helps those in need in the Richmond metropolitan area and in the counties that surround the city.
The Richmond chapter was launched with the support of the VCU Occupational Therapy Department and Goodwill of Central Virginia. Continuing support from The Community Foundation, The Richard and Caroline T. Gwathmey Memorial Trust and the Hunton Foundations is helping F.R.E.E. of Richmond successfully launch and serve more people in need in the area.
Volunteers from numerous healthcare organizations and from the general Richmond community give of their time to sort, sanitize and gift mobility equipment to uninsured and underinsured members of the Richmond community.
